Educational Series on Leveraging Microsoft Group Policy with Industry Expert, Derek Melber

This multi-city seminar series, presented by noted Group Policy expert Derek Melber, will provide IT professionals with the knowledge and skill needed to enable increased enterprise security, desktop standardization and compliance using Group Policy.

Derek Melber, Group Policy MVP, Microsoft TechEd speaker and author of the "Group Policy Resource Kit" by Microsoft Press, will discuss techniques to leverage Group Policy to lockdown computers, reduce support costs and address other common enterprise security concerns including:

Additionally, the seminar series will discuss new features of Windows Server 2008 Group Policy, how to best employ Group Policy Preferences, how these new features function on Windows XP/2003 clients and techniques to implement Group Policy administration procedures.

The seminar series will be presented at Microsoft facilities around the country.
